AVAILABILITY: Hank’s Coffee Station is committed to open 7 days a week and will have staff working hard 16+ hours per day, collectively. Being a member of our team REQUIRES that you are available to work both locations and on weekends, holidays and two Sunday’s a month. Part time employees must be available a minimum of 4 days per week, for a minimum of 5 consecutive hours each of those 4 days. Come join our team! Hank's Coffee Station is looking to hire a baker for full time/part time work with multiple shifts available. We are looking for individuals we can trust to help us continue our reputation for delicious, scratch made pastries. We are continuing to grow as a business, and want someone to grow with us.

A little about us:
Hank's is an independent, family owned and operated business with a cafe in Franklin and a coffee trailer located in Leipers Fork.

To be successful in this role you need to have the right mix of service skills and operations, creativity and execution, and ability to manage yourself alone and in a small team setting. Prior kitchen/ baking experience in a professional settings or equivalent of culinary education/courses; food service experience is a bonus but not required.

A brief list of duties include:Production bake shift work:
Portioning and baking muffins, loaves, cookies, and scones

Cashier - guest experience

The Cashier has the most interactive role at Hanks Coffee Station. First and foremost, they welcome guests and ensure their experience at the cafe both starts and ends with a pleasant experience. The cashier provides exceptional customer service, serves food and beverages at the highest quality, and is an integral team member to the daily tasks needed in the coffee shop. This position is a precursor to the barista position, which is available after 30 days of employment or with previous specialty coffee barista experience.

Kitchen Manager / Chef

Our menu currently consists of breakfast tartines (toasts) , yogurt bowls, overnight oats, and more. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of our delicious recipes and ensuring our guests enjoy their experience.

You are responsible for top notch cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

  • Understand our Guest-Experience culture is at the utmost importance and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.

  • Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared.

  • Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times.

The Barista has the most interactive role at Hanks Coffee Station. Whether at our flagship location in Franklin, or at our Leipers Fork coffee trailer, the barista has the important job serving our patrons delicious coffee and a great experience at Hank’s Coffee Station. The barista provides exceptional customer service, produces food and beverage at the highest quality, and is an integral team member to the daily tasks needed in the coffee shop.

You’ll get the opportunity to serve coffee and provisions at Hank’s Coffee Station. Your role will include accurately processing transactions while maintaining the highest level of customer experience for our guests. You will ensure your station is clean and stocked with all the supplies necessary. You will follow recipes to make our house-made syrups and prep for garnishes. You will be in charge of making sure the dishes are clean, using appropriate dishwashing methods. Making sure all areas of the cafe, including outdoors and bathrooms are maintained to the Hank’s Standard. You will assist in running food to tables and setting the barista up for success. Your role is to help out wherever needed, to support your fellow staff and customers ensuring a 5-star service at all times.
